I'm somewhere in between option 1 and 2, so I voted the comedy option.

Don't you hate it when you're really tired then when you do go to bed your all of a sudden wide awake and hyper?

That generally doesn't happen to me. I'm usually tired as hell, lay in bed, STILL tired as hell, but my mind keeps racing all over the places, thinking of random things, and then finally I fall asleep like an hour later.

Most certainly Pitz voted for the third option. Can't sleep? TOUCH YOURSELF!

Im the same. Except sometimes i think about things, look at the clock, reads 12:30 or something. So i try and sleep, still thinking of just general stuff and what ive got to do the next day etc, look at my clock and itll read like 2:00...i mean ffs SLEEP!

I then get weird and start doing meditation techniques. I literally tell myself to stop thinking of stuff, then focus completely on breathing in and out. Im asleep in 5 minutes when i do that. Weird i know, but ***k it, it works.

I wish that would work...but usually I'll be thinking of breathing, then I'll have the feeling of drowning probably, or some lame crap. lol.

I'm nuts.

It generally takes me 1-3 hours to get to sleep unless I am really tired, it is a real pain in the arse.

I often find it difficult to sleep without having read for about an hour before hand, or having thought about CyberPitz for about a 30 minutes before hand.

Smoke a bowl every night before bed and you'll never have problems sleeping

you'll also never dream again ..and if you miss a night prepare for waking up wet as you'll sweat all night from withdrawl symptons

try a glass of red wine before bed it'll put you to sleep as red wine has some natural chemicals that make you tired

With my luck, I'll drink a glass and will get wasted off of it, and then never sleep, and wake up drunk.

That's my luck, though.

getting drunk before bedtime is a positive in my book ;)

I've tried that, then I wake up drunk as hell, and I get a major headache at work, and driving while incredibly dizzy sucks to me.

well your problem was that you stopped drinking when you woke up ...margaritas for breakfast ftw

oh and driving when dizzy is good because you dont feel the pedestrians going over your car when you inevitably drive on the sidewalk

I know I won't feel it, but my poor car would, and it would be crying all the way to work, and then I'd be crying!!

I LOVE MY BABY!!!!

well they'd be drunken tears of joy

"I loves my carish, WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!! I'm not drunk YOU'RE DRUNK!!"

I have vivid dreams every night, have never woken up in sweat and never had a single withdrawl symptom. I've never even heard of that happening

Thats pretty shitty though if thats what happened to you though. Weird

ya well I've probably been smoking longer than you've been alive ...it's a known side effect ...and you do dream it's just that it's harder to recall

You cheat. Your parents were having sex before mine met.

I've smoked pretty heavily for the last 4 years though. Id imagine if I was succeptable to withdrawl symptoms I'd have experienced em by now. I've been having crazy vivid dreams lately too, but ya I forget em pretty quickly and am just left with the feeling that I had a really kewl dream.

But i sleep like a dog and its thanks to pot

yes that's what I was saying ..when stoned I too sleep like a log ..when not ..well I'm somewhat restless

Man I'd smoke pot if watching people around smoke pot didn't make me feel like a damned genius. When the people are crawling on the ground looking for the ants that will save the world from meteors...I then say to myself, "Ahh, THAT'S why I don't smoke. Hmph"

So all in all, weed is out of the question.

From my experience stupid people on pot are stupid. Smart people on pot are smart. Or at the very least self controlled.

Speed is the answer to the question.

Also, I had a weird dream last night. Its the first one that I can remember in years. Basically a friend of mine who i havent talked to in 5 years used my brother's skateboard for awhile, and was trying to jump with it inside the train where we all were, and he thought he could touch the roof which was 10 ft off the ground. He thought he could do it as soon as we went down a hill, so that he could jump higher. Then when we got out of the train, I started flying an apache helicopter and killing some dudes in their base which was an abandoned factory. Eventually I was flying over a teammate and he waved for me to land real quick. So I did, but then I heard someone on the radio say "Is he landing upside down?" and I was like "oh, oops" so I just flipped the helicopter right-side up again and landed. Then I got out to talk to the guy, and he traded assault rifles with me. Then we were ambushed and we got split up. I was hiding in a demolished building, in a really small, but fairly intact closet. Unfortunately the guy i was hiding from knew i was there, and he shoved a knife through a crack, and it stabbed me right in the leg. It hurt really bad, so I unloaded the whole clip from my gun into him, and thats all i can remember.

Pretty sweet. Especially the part where I was going to land the helicopter upside down.

I have really bad insomnia. Some nights I might go to bed at maybe 9:30 for a test the next day and end up wandering around the house at 3:00 in the morning. I've found that reading a good book until I fall asleep works fairly well.

I sleep OK unless i'm stressed or nervous about something.

Like a log. I have 4 alarm clocks, which dont always wake me up, and I've slept through 6 fire engines, a barn burning down and the explosion of the roof of said barn. When my dad woke me up and said the dutch barn had been burnt down I thought he was joking.

It can get bloody annoying, this heavy sleeping lark.

I can fall asleep fairly easily, takes me about half an hour.
But then again, I pretty much do strenuous work every day so that might be why.

I've actually fallen asleep at the computer on a few occasions too... only for about 5/10 minutes each though and while listening to music.

I sleep through anything too. I even subconsciously turn alarms off in my sleep.

I can sleep through a lot. However, my body has gotten used to my alarm clock to the point that just having the cd start spinning in the tray makes me wake up. Its not a loud noise at all, but my mind is so used to hearing that noise (ive used the same cd player alarm clock for like 9 or 10 years now) that it knows it as a sign that i need to get up. I can usually wake up, realize whats happening, and turn off my alarm before the cd even starts playing.

Then I can also sleep through a party ouside my door, people trying to wake me and loud rap music from outside my apartment window. Its just my alarm clock that wakes me up easy.

I have an alarm clock on my Zen Visiom:M, which I can set to a shitload of songs. If you choose the right one and turn the volume up, you'll think World War III just started in your bedroom. It's the greatest wake up device ever invented. The best part is that it doesn't give any kind of warning when it's turning on.

once i get to sleep, im good, its just a matter of wearing my woman out first.
