The AI for the marines when they drive is so frustratingly awful. They got stuck for no god damn reason, so I get out of the turret to take the drivers seat. As soon as I get out, they drive off. Just at this moment, oh look, a CHECKPOINT.

So now I have to start the whole mission over.

I give up.

The Xbox 360 version of Half Life 2 is more fun than Halo 3.

Thats right, a port of a 3 year old PC game is better than the climax of the flagship xbox series.

If the above sounded like nonsensical gibberish, forgive me, I am very frustrated.

The only thing that sounds like nonsense is that you let a marine drive :P

I always either a.) Killed the Marines or B.) Used them as meat shields.

Morons.

I never let them drive. Or my friends in coop. I am always the driver.

The really frustrating thing, though, is trying to get a marine with a rocket launcher onto the back of a mongoose without him running off. Even worse when you have to try and hand him the launcher yourself and he won't stay the christ still.

Yeah never let them drive. I've had marines just drive me around in pointless ****ing circles for like 5 minutes before were blown up or something.

At least the ones in Halo 1 for PC where somewhat useful.

since when does a newer game scream better game then ones in the past?

So I changed my mind and didn't give up.

Good thing too, because the section with the tank that came shortly after was hella fun. But consider yourself warned, Halo 3 campaign!

olol.

To this day I still haven't beaten Halo 3. I got bored of it after a week.

Also I saw about seven copies of the Legendary Edition last time I was in EB Games. I almost lolled right there in the store.

How could you not beat the campaign?

I beat it in one sitting in 6 hours on a Saturday. :-\

Halo 3 marines.....

I remember watching a warthog full of them drive straight off a cliff before the dual scarab battle.

Haha sounds like fun. At least there's something to laugh about :P

You should play campaign with the "catch" skull on. Marines throw grenades at anything, anywhere. The results from the majority of these throws are entire platoons of dead marines caused by bounce-back.

It's ****ing hilarious. Plus they deserve it for being retarded.

I decided to beat it on Heroic, and... well long story short I kind of suck at Halo 3. Also I was committed to the multiplayer for most of that week. Haven't touched the game since.

I never beat Halo 3 either.. I got absorbed into Mass Effect.. Mass effect is 100x what this game could ever be.

Does anyone else think that the Halo 3 campaing in co-op with heroic difficuilty is a tad to easy? I mean it took me ages to finnish the first level and on co-op it took less than it took on normal (non co-op).

still havent finished Halo or halo 2 ..starting on halo 3 and already bored (just took down those giant spider/ant looking things) ..oh and it was a rental ..there was 3 copies on the shelves

I haved been mowed down by my own marines so, SO many times it isn't even funny.

If they ever do another Halo game, they should sink a lot of time and effort into making good AI for both sides (your marines and the enemy), and have you play as a Hell Jumper or a marine. Give MC a rest.

I think that would be wicked sick.

Now try and do it on Legendary and with a few skulls added ;)

Tis hard Warbie, especially with the freakin Catch Skull on...

K - I choose Grunt Birthday Party and I Would Have Been Your Daddy. :p

Tell me about it. Usually they decide to do this when I hop out of a vehicle to snipe something up ahead. :hmph:
