Really? was that the best they could do? meh.

Ok its watchable, I'll give it that, but its lost the charm of the first one, this time round its a straight up action movie with poor attemps at trying to be funny? Some of it was funny, but no they were trying too hard.

Sam Rockwell's character was excellent.

Mickey Rourke was well chosen as a villain but his last battle was... eh?

The cgi in this movie was excellent i must admit, the Drones looked like they were really there and you could believe it.

But there a really ridiculous moment where Tony discovers his new power source... wtf man, that was stupid....

I'm gonna leave it at this.

But there is one thing about the movie, it seems it was made to be a part of a bigger story, probably for the superhero team up movie.

Plus there a nice hint the Thor movie after the credits.

Well that's unfortunate, I really liked the first one. However I can't say I'm surprised. Ever since I saw how ridiculous Rourke looked in the trailer I had my doubts about it.

It was excellent. No idea what you're on about. As good or better than the first.

Glad to hear it. Im thinking of going tomorrow, if I can score some good seats.

I seriously cringed at the video of

HAMMER SUIT TEST

Jesus Christ. I feel bad for the pilot.

and laughed at

North Korean Suit Test

My sister reports that it's not as good as the first one, but not dire.

I though Stark's storyline was utterly boring, only the new supporting characters were interesting, and the the many attempts at capturing humor of the original which I though fell flat on their face.

I over heard many, many people saying when I left the cinema that it wasn't as good as the original one. and I agreed. I wasn't expecting much from the movie to be honest, if it was good as the original I'd been happy, but it was meh for me.

Edit: Sheepo **** you.

Can't really say I was looking forward to it anyway, the first one was average at best. Although I will watch on DVD for Rockwell.

Iron Man 2 is conducive to the acquisition of female companionship, or 'getting a girlfriend'. I saw it twice with as many girls in as many days.

Therefore it gets Nurizeko's golden seal of approval. :imu:

Also plenty of eye-candy in all forms. :)

Underwhelming, underdeveloped and pretty much uuuuuninteresting!

But I recommend that everyone go see it. We should all go see it. Why? Because Robert Downey jr. is thoroughly upstaged by none other than Sam Rockwell himself. Justin Hammer is the best character in the film, despite being all of the above, but he's a ****ing riot.

News from the front line everyone!

Oh, Samon hates it, I guess I wont even bother watching it then.

Smug basterd.

Really?

If it was possible for a man to bear children, I would want rockwell's baby.

For the record, I thought it was immense. Definitely not as good as the first one (which I consider to be one of the best superhero films ever made, only just behind Batman Begins, Dark Knight) but certainly on a par with The Incredible Hulk.

Ok so which group of ya'll is telling fibs?

Half say it's the greatest ever, the other half say it is the shittiest ever?

IT CAN'T BE BOTH.

"Only just" behind The Dark Knight? I think that's getting a little ahead of things, to be sure. The Dark Knight practically breaks through the comic-book genre. I'd also consider Iron Man 2 be a hell of a lot better than the atrocity that is 2008's Incredible Hulk.

Samon, let me ask you a question in all seriousness here:

Is there genuinely no limit to the amount of bile you are able to spew? Is there some theoretical limit to the amount of disgust and hatred your mind can generate?

TDK is so overrated.

It kinda is. I mean it's good and all, but whould Ledger really be so celebrated as the Joker had he not killed himself? PR stunt anyone?

That's not saying much. Both Hulk movies were terrible.

Pot calling the kettle black, isn't it?

The Dark Knight is a big, intense, dark film with intense feelings of discomfort in some scenes and not necessarily any big laughs. It is still one of the better films of the last 10 years but I would not necessarily sit down on a Saturday night and watch it with a couple of beers and a plate of nachos with a whole gang of friends. Iron Man however is laugh out loud funny in places, pulls off robots fighting in a far more enjoyable manner than the Transformers films did and is generally just a balls out action film of the best kind.

I enjoy both films, both for different reasons, despite being in a similar genre in the first place.

I never said it was shitty, I thought it was meh, big difference.

It has a red-haired scarlett Johansson kicking ass, and war machine (I don't even read the comics but iron-man suit + big guns = nerd porn regardless of your preferred medium of nerdery!).

Plus "I want my boird" could become the next internet meme (one born every second).

I seen it I enjoyed it as a good enough time at the cinema but the first is better yeah. But by no means is this a bad movie.

So I take it everyone's gay for Rockwell on this forum?

oh **** yes! Me heart moon :D

I liked it.. it was okay, I guess. There are some big plot faux pas but it didn't stop me from enjoying the best part of the movie.. Ivan Vanko!

This movie sort of blew.

But Sam Rockwell. :naughty:
