So If the game IS NOT finished it WOULD NOT pre-load? Is it REALLY FINISHED? IF ITS PRELODING ON AUGUST 17th? COULT IT BE ACTUALLY TRUE?

dude, relax. they'll start preloading the elements of the game that ARE finished, like sounds and textures.

AHHHHHH, parts of the game are preloading, the parts that will not change and that are done.

The stuff there sending over is stuff like music and textures and such. basically, these things are just static and the engine and maps and such are not going to be preloaded on the 17th I assure you.

Not sure. He might just be making that up. That or Valve sent them unencrypted files, and why they would do that I don't have a clue. Or some of the files become unencrypted upon Valve activating the beta or the- bah. I don't know.

My ATI 9600 came with a card that says i get HL2 for free when its released, is this the voucher hes talking about and does this also mean i get the css beta when CZ owners get it? And how would i get it??? :rolling:

Im pretty sure the game is actually finished, BUT, as ive read in a few magazines thats VALVe are just going through the final tweaking and fixing stage and are testing the game out to see what people think ( lucky fuggers ) and then its over to vivendi for the final stage of shipping etc.
