If you can't get the box you want..?

If you head into the shop on the big day to grab your copy of HL2 , and have your heart all set on getting, say the box with Gordons face (or whichever you prefer), what will you do if they are all sold out? Will you just say "bah" and grab a different one? Or will you just keep looking or will you wait for the one you wanted?

I am just going to Steam my copy cause i don't care about boxes or CD's, but i know it's important to some o' you guys. So I guess what I am asking is if you would actually put off buying the game, rather than get the box art you didn'T want?

I believe it is a metal tin (although they haven't confirmed if that is the official case they decided on.)

i'm getting half life 2 through steam but if i was gonna get a boxed copy i wouldn't care which box it was. think about it, when you buy half life 2 what are you going to do? put the game in your computer and start playing or stare at the box for several hours?
