yes or person x is being electrocuted and will be dead in about 3 seconds unless someone turns the power off, do you turn it off or walk away.


Let's say they don't die in much pain and will be reasonably quick.

I'm the same way. One time when I was like 12 I took 5 dollars from my mom and I felt so guilty I put 10 back later :/.

It would depend on the nature of the situation and the kindof 'hate' you're describing. I've never been in a position of mortal hatred, but if I was, I don't know what I'd do. I don't think anyone would really know until they were actually in that spot themselves, and, lets face it, the odds aren't really on your side

You're not killing them, the point is, let's say they're about to die anyway, and you came along while they where there, would you just ignore it if they where about to die, or would you do something?

Definitely not. If you knowingly let them die and felt absolutely no guilt then there's something seriously wrong with you.

Plus, no matter what reason you hated them for, you could totally turn the situation around and use the "I saved your life" card to your advantage

no, beacuse thats the same as killing them. Killing is wrong no matter what the situation (I truly believe this, but I also truly believe that humanity cant be prevented from doing wrong given extreme situations)
