you really think you're gonna be able to download HL2 (QUICKLY might I add) the first day it is released? Hell no.


Try maybe the 2nd or 3rd day you might be able to get into the steam network to download and by then it will be on store shelves if you were smart enough to pre-order.

Seriously, don't you get preloading? You download it now, then when HL2 is released, you either pay for it over Steam, or pay for it in advance, and the second it is unlocked, you can play it.
