If YOU were in Half-Life...

Hmm. Probably a Combine Soilder that interrogates prisoners at Nova Prospekt, seems more my nature to torture innocents, and i mean whos gonna stop me seeming every other combine is doing the same thing

Like someone mentioned earlier, i'd probably be an undercover resistance member disguised as a CP.
I'm naturally a sneaky person like that. But chances are i'd get caught and get killed.
Or turned into a stalker. That would be fun. ._.

I would probably be a Winston Smith type of character, having more of a mental rebellion then raising up arms. Until Nova Prospekt gets owned.

I'd be a member of the resistance, even before Nova Prospekt. But then, I have a problem with alien authority. I'd also hit on Alyx every chance I get. :upstare:

I can see myself dying in the resonance cascade.

A bull squid teleporting into my living room and my desperate attempt to register what I'm seeing ends in gibs.

I'd join the civil protection. Then when shit starts to hit the fan (the riot) I would just disguise my self as a rebel, and then try (or die trying) to escape city 17. Then I would just live off headcrabs and barnacles in the outskirts surrounding city 17, quietly waiting for freeman to destroy the combine.

I'll be that resistance soldier with the rocket launcher standing by the crate of infinite rockets

I would be the guy sitting in a chair reclining and watching Breen's "TV program" with his face blasted off, good times,

Looking through the window and seeing a headcrab-shell landing next to my door. Then I would step outside, take a look and BAM! I r zombie!

I've revised my plan:
Headshot a Combine soldier with my rifle and go take his armor and stuff and proceed out into the N. American equivalent of the badlands left behind by the portal storms to survive amongst the antlions with my fancy new retro-fitted armor.
I'd then also proceed to fight a guerilla campaign by popping the heads of one or two combine soldiers at a time to create fear.

The Portal Storms seem to me like the perfect excuse to abandon everything. I'd sell all my stuff and head out into the countryside to disappear. I'd set up in a remote community holding out against the creatures and try to survive. I suppose that means being annexed by the Resistance in the end, but that would offset the selfishness of starting again.

I'd probably just try and pretend nothing was happening and stay at home being a good citizen. Then when the citadel got destroyed i'd get on the trains and get evacuated.

If I was in Halflife?

Id look around thinking 'where's my HUD?'

It's easy to survive you just open up the console and type in ''buddha'' :p

I would teleport into Counter Strike, DUH. And then be spectator ghost and would fly around the maps, i mean environments, and say boo while terrorists and counters are battling it out...

That means you must be working on teleport chamber, eh? :D

And I'd be all like 'Spectaitor Goasts LEAVE THIS PLACE!"'

HL2: Take Out My Phone, And Put In God, Then Proceed To Start Punching CP Officers In The Face.
EP1: Escape The Citadel Strapped To The Underside of An Advisor Pod.
EP2: Fight With The AR3 Guy.

I'd be selling underground citizen porn to everyone.

HF 1: I'd hide in a dumpster, then convince the G-Man that I'm important enough to be put in stasis

HF OP, BS, Decay: Same thing

HF 2: I would work my way up to the top and be the loyal bodygaurd of Dr. Breen

HF 2 EP. 1: I'd get the hell out of the Citadel and hitch a ride on a train out of City 17

HF 2 EP. 2: Adopt a hunter, then kick resistance ass

Portal: Live with the Rat Man forever and ever and me, him, and the WCC can be a happy family

The end.

HL2: Id be in the resistence...In one of the Stations, id surving the raids just to get slain by the manhacks
EP1: Ive never heard of an Antlion, so when they invade the town, im dead...
EP2: I see a car coming, finally, help has arrived, I jump out just when Freeman hits the Turbo...Im roadkill

If I were in Half-Life. Heh.

I'd sleep through the resonace cascade and the portal storms that follow for sure, and during the Seven Hours War, I think I might rest the first few days, maybe listen to the Batman (the Tim Burton one) soundtrack. Man, that movie was awesome. Actually, I think afterward, I'll watch it. Yes...definately, but then I have to watch Adaption. No, no, I'll watch Synecdoche, New York, that's what I'll do.

Eventually, maybe the second or third day of the Combine invasion, I'd come out, mosey around a bit, go back to my house, grab a couple of rifles and go on a killing spree.

By the time of Half-Life 2, I'd have moved further inland to deal with the Combine menace, picked out various men and women I've saved to sleep with me, then probably start a casino. A big one, decorated with the various trophies I would have collected over the years. The centrepeice of this collection would be a Gonarch testicle.

The destruction of the citadel in Episode One wouldn't cause me much grief. Quite the opposite, in fact it would cause me great jubilation, due to the flood of customers that would come my way. Of course, some Combine troublemakers will invariably attempt to harrass my loyal patrons, but my triple barreled shotgun with underslung rocket launcher should keep them in line.

Now, I've heard many people say to me "Well, Mr Kornpone, it's all fine and dandy to go on a killing rampage, then open a casino, but you're not exactly Gordon Freeman". I proceed shoot those people in the face with my shotgun/rocket launcher. Then I ground them up into paste and feed them to their family members. Because that's the sort of thing I do.

If you have any questions about what to do in similar situations, please foward them to me.

I'd sneak my way up to the top. Doing dirty jobs even if it meant killing citizens. Then when I had my chance alone with Breen I'd blow the Suppression field with charges and kill him within the same minute. the natural way to do an uprising would be me killing Breen live and all the citizens would be set free.

If that wouldn't work, I'd probably punch a hole in the combines defenses, or just spray paint some wicked Resistance logo:
