So many are pissed off at Valve for the release date shenanagins and such. Many more people stated their horribly negative opinions of Valve in response to Gabe's ask for help. All in all, I'd say Valve's rep. has gone down throughout the community...way down.

The thing that I find the most ironic...is that every single one of you "Valve-haters" are still going to support them by buying their game when they release it...of course you could download some warez of it..then you just wouldn't be able to play online, which is what HL2 is gonna be all about in my mind.

In closing....shut your mouth...let Valve do their work and get you your game...

Of course people are fickle and petty. Making a thread to call them out on it won't make them stop being that way though. It only produces more flame wars, name-calling, etc. Plus, I think the people at Valve have thick enough skin to ignore all the hate.

I really hope that no cracked versions of this game come out
That would terribly suck for the entire company, and for the entire (supporting) community who does NOT support the hackers who infiltrated this secretive information. I *hopefully* will get my chance to buy the game when/IF it comes out. By saying if I know that theres the possibility that this incident probably ruined all of Valves work forever and they might retire the company which would suck so much.
I hope Valve gets help from any able helpers and solves this case ASAP and we can get on with our lives, and maybe if this goes away fast and nothing has been terribly damaged out there, then maybe they can release the game earlier than late November or December, so that the original would be out before user-made crap comes out. My virtual support goes to valve all the way, live on.
