In-game caracters

Hi,

I recently bought the collection edition of halflife 2. I installed it and enjoyed playing it a lot. Untill, at one point, caracters stopped responding, enemies didn't attack anymore. (during the canal mission, with all the radioactive waist)

I tried reloading the game to a certain savepoint, restarted the game... nothing. Is there something I can do, except for starting all over again?

Try validating your steam files.

Steam has to be running in online mode at the time.

For all who struggle with the same problem as I did. The steam thing didn't work, just download "half-life 2 enhancer". It's a little patch that cuts loading times in two... a lot of little scripts that could come in handy.
