In hammer how do I scale brushs better?

In Hammer is there any way I can edit the size of a brush better then just using the blocks on the grid?

in the texture search thing, type "dev" and look for textures that measure a door or a wall.

Try using [ and ] to resize the grid. I'm not sure I understand your question though...

I'm not sure what you mean but, yeah, try making the grid smaller or larger. Or edit their dimensions in the 3D view by selecting a brush and pressing X.
