I recently bought the Orange box and I wanted to install the "Lost Coast", but each time I click on the install button, it states it is not ready for install. Is there a trick or did it not actually come with the "Orange Box"?

lost coast does not come with orange box. but dont worry, your really not missing out on anything. lost coast was just a short demo designed to show off HDR lighting in game.. while it looks nice there really isnt much to it and can ruin some of the half life 2 experiences from playing through half life 2 the first time.. dont look to much into it, your not missing out on anything.

HL2: Lost Coast is very glitched up and weird, but it's not really meant to have a story and also the fisherman guy is really cool at the beggining. :)

It's the missing coast map that Valve cut from HL2. Eventually they released it as a tech demo. It has loads of glitches, although it does fix a few glitches related to the harpoon. It has a nice church.

Don't bother playing it until you've at least completed Half-Life 2.

If you have an nVidia or ATI graphics card you should be able to get this for free. I know with ATI you get the free copy when you download the newest drivers. I don't know about nVidia.

I, on the other hand don't have a graphics card! But I have Lost Coast anyway :P

other then integrated graphics.. there really isnt much else to choose from ( but who chose integrated graphics anyway?? ^.^

They should make Lost Coast into a full game with a story.

or they should just work on getting us half life 2 ep:3 first.. then worry about that :P
