Simple question. Do you like knowing where the intelligence is at all times? Personally, I think it's bad. Since you can see where the person is, what direction, anything...takes away from sneaking it to the home base.... I'd say something that tells if it's on the pedestal, and maybe when it's down, a location meter on it, that disappears when picked up. I don't know, I heard someone in the hl2.net server say, "haha, I knew exactly when you were going to round the corner and what way you were taking!" Takes away from things imo.

Keeps the game at pace. No silly hiding with the thing.

Also, get on steam so we can TF2.

The noobs still don't #)@(*&$ing listen when I tell them it's coming out of spiral stairs or sloped stairs. So it really only matters to the intelligent

As of right now. But think of the clan matches. Would make it hard to sneak out of the base/go water/anything, because they know where you are!

It should be like it is in WoW (Warsong Gulch): the flag/intelligence is hidden from the enemies unless it takes too long. In WoW it's 5 minutes, in TF2 the intelligence should be given 1 minute.

There's really only 2 exits from the FR area anyways... A good team would put people at both

Bad

But maybe a command? nah bad all together.

It's helpful but I wouldn't miss it, on 2fort at least it's always easy to find

Generally bad, I think. It's convenient to know where it is, but it would force better team communication to not have the indicator, which is a good thing. With the indicator on I just follow the arrow, without it I'd ask my teammates.
