irc spambots

are there new spambots out there?
They are acting a little smart, pming you like they are real people. "Hey <user>, are you there?"
and after 5 mins "please i need help!"

I don't have an antispam script (well I am using sysreset and I think the spam filter is activiated but it never seemed to stop anything )

I used to get 3-4 spams a day all aobut pr0n and shit. but now .. what is this?
this smart-spambot kinda started to hit me less than a week ago.

The problem is in the amount of spam ..

Or you could write a simple short anti-spam script.

msg $nick You're not allowed to talk to me.

}

Now, that wouldn't work but when I'll get my ordinary laptop I'll see what I could fix for you.

I tried scripts .. but I'm just thinking this new way (acting like real people) is to avoid anti-spam scripts or something.

Why would they bother to talk .. like "hi" "are you there?"?
I really don't know much about irc, but would that make them look more real?
