man the reason i ask is because i am logged into my acount after reinstalling steam and hl2 yet it doesnt list hl2 and css as games available. and when i go to activate a game using a key the key is already in use (obviously cause ive used it before on this acount. so why dont my games work?
my com hasnt changed at all. just reinstalled.

the reason i ask about the acounts is because i used the cdkey to retrieve the acount details that it is registered to and when i got the username i thought i remembered the password. so i had a crack and it worked. but games dont. so i was thinking i know i have a few acounts maybe i have made 2 acounts with the same username but different pass. i KNOW on some net server providers and acounts i have had in the past as long as the passwords are different the acount names can be the same.
