Is my computer good enough?

3. Intel Celeron- 700mhz

Celerons are notorious for not being good performers in games, and it is an old celeron which doesn't help.

6.Radeon 7000 video card

This video card is rather on the old side and could use replacing. If you're system has an agp slot, I would try to spend some money on a new card.

I would recommend a new cpu, motherboard, ram, and videocard update;however, upgrade money is not easy to come by most. I would start saving.

Sorry mate, if HL2 even runs on that, it will run so bad that you probably won't want to play it. Better save up for some upgrades, you still got time.

Yes, I would start to save up and find someone to build one for you. You could build your own system. This would be a good experience and could help you out in the future. After I built my first system, I decided I would probably never buy a prebuilt computer again (unless it's a laptop).

actually www.cyberpowerinc.com and ibuypower.com both have pc that are just about the same price as building it urself. but custom built pc's tend to have better preformance.
