Is my RAM a problem?

I'm thinking of getting HL2, but i'm worried that it won't play well, mainly because of my RAM. It meets the recommended 512mb but it's PC133 RAM. Will this be a serious issue?

my full specs:
Intel P4 1.7
512mb RAM PC133
ATI Radeon 9600
Windows XP SP1

PC133 is real slow. Get atleast 512mb PC3200. (or 3 something, i forgot)

This game eats RAM like Skittles. I have 512 of pc3200 and I'm really feeling like I need another 512.

i am using PC133.. in fact i have 2x 256MB PC133 ECC CL3 Sync

running fine but it's not enough.. it would be better if i had 1GB or ram

ive got 768 meg of pc133.... i think its lagging my system...
