Is there as much zombie activity in the day as it is in the night is Ravenholm?

When you play through Ravenholm, it is night. Do you think it would be as much zombies if it would have been in the day? Or is the zombies afraid of light just as their creators? Discuss.

darkness with street lamp type lighting makes it more atmospheric....it automatically gets you in that mind set aswell because darkness is associated with fear instinctively...what you can't see is more scary

it wouldn't work no-where near aswell had it been set in daytime

One of the scarrier zombie moments in the game is when the guy pops out of the waste when you're trying to cross the tiny board. That happens during the day.

But the easiest way to know for certain is just edit the ravenholm maps with a daytime skybox and a glowing sun. Then test it out like that.

I was meaning is there is as much zombie activity in the day as it is in the day. Misleading title, sorry.

Probably, I don't think there have ever been Zombies that dislike sunlight in anyway - you're thinking of Vampires! :)

But you've, inadvertently, raised a really interesting idea. Someone P L E A S E make a Ravenholm during the day Mod. It would be pretty interesting to play through. But might also be crap and unscary. Hmmmm

:bounce: What the hell is this supposed to be anyway???

It wont be too difficult to make in, just add a little light.

And those buggers are known as Biozeminades. They carry two nuclear bombs each and are the creators of the site. ;)

Ahhh, finally the truth emerges....excuse me while I go answer the door.

You can't edit the SP maps, the VMFs weren't released.

I thought those houses along Highway 17 were just as creepy and eerie as Ravenholm, and that is during the day.

ya for sure. You stop by a abandoned house and your looking through it. Everything is silent, suddenly you have those magnet balls (don't know what they are called) drop through the roof, scared the hell out of me.

No... Ravenholm will never be scary in daylight.

that would be cool if highway 17 was at night, or even the city 17 strider battles :D

noway cause the damn buggy doesnt have any headlights!!!

*Mount headlights on Buggy*

*Drive*

*Come up to a antlion*

*Antlion stares into headlights like that of a deer*

*Smush*

Both would be fun... :)

I bet Ravenholm is normal during the day. If only the residents knew what went on at night!

You are assuming that every human scared from darkness...........(Your statement is quite right with people who experienced to watch 18+ Horror movies at age 5-12 years old.

Are you afraid from the dark ? I am not :)

Everybody, if you wanna try playing in pitch blackness, enter "mat_diffuse 0" into the console. Works really well with "sv_infinite_aux_power 1" for infinite flashlight. Oh, and if you're having trouble on the buggy levels, spawn an airboat ("ch_createairboat" or "impulse 83") as they have headlights. If you want the gun on it, give it a name, say, "ent_setname boat" and then enter "ent_fire boat enablegun 1"

and that's it.
