Is there a way to disable HUD?

I want to disable HUD (PC version) in...well..I would greatly appreciate playing without HUD in any Source game (except Portal ).The crosshair in HL2 has all the necessary information I need and a full-screen view is great (try DOOM I if in doubt).And I don't really need this information in CS: Source because when someone shoots at you, you already know your health is low and the amount of ammo is really not necessary to look at (just keep reloading - in CS you have the sufficient ammo and in HL2 you always have plenty of weapons to substitute).
But I don't know a console command to disable HUD.
Please help me.
p.s. what about HL1? I don't like HUD since playing in Skulltag without it.

sv_cheats 1 (necessary,so these commands won't work in CS and HL: Deathmatch)
cl_drawhud 0 - hides the health,suit,ammo information and the crosshair
impulse 200 - hides your gun
the rest of commands in this thread are FAKE!
Don't enter them!

Depends which game you are playing for different commands.

Team Fortress 2's gun disable command is viewmodel_fov 0, viewmodel_ 54.
And every other Source game is just Impulse 200.

And the HUD is the same for all games. And its been said before.

that will hide it. I do it all the time. I bind it to zero and i bind cl_drawhud 1 to the 8 key , i like to play half life 2 with out a hud
