now the color changed from green to yellow in my nvidia monitor....does that it's a bad oc?

No overclock is a good overclock imo. Especially if your on a tight budget like me. To risky, and many games don't like it anyways.

If I were to overclock though, I'd try using Rivatuner. Probably better than some driver app.

well my PC just crashed while I was playing cod4...this really loud whistling sound lol..oh well back to standard clocks

If you're looking for better performance, I just set custom fan speeds, that gave me a boost.

OC-ing through software is a bad idea, because you can ruin something. Also, you don't have the safety of "NO Go!" like you would when you use the BIOS, and your system may reboot in dangerous waters.
When you OC you must also adjust and balance volts and frequencies of you system, which most software do not offer, and even if they did you can easily over-charge and get into trouble.

My humble advice: Use the BIOS. TO find out if your stable: I like prime95. Google it.
