the main reason it may be choppy because almost all the servers made are listen servers. Give it like a week for the server companies to get the server binaries loaded, and im sure it will be better

well my framerate leaves much to be desired, and it has nothing to do with latency, as its my own listen server. i can't run near what settings i use for CS:S without big framerate drops all around

HDR looks amazing! It's here to stay on my machine, even if it means a resolution down and less AA.

Dude, relax. The game hasn't even been out for a day

And I agree. HDR can be a bit odd. Like when I pull the KAR sights to my face, then pull them back down, even if my eyes are "focused" the game thinks that it should look like I was just in a pitch black tunnel.

Otherwise, HDR looks ace!

thats the first thing i did when i loaded up dod source is look into the sun, and the normal bloom effect was more effective then the HDR when it came to looking in the sun. I hope they can adjust that cuz the rest of HDR is awesome. though there is something wierd about the flashlight now, i cant put my finger on it though. just something i dont seem to like about it now

Really? I thought the flashlight looked magnificent, and was thinking of daring VALVe to add the effect to HL2, or i'd send them a wave of goatse at the beggining of each month.
