i was just fooling around with the crossbow the other day, and i used "impulse 101" at the beginning of the game.
when you're going through the teleport after Alyx and it starts sending you all over the place, equip the crossbow.
when you get into Dr. Breen's office, pop him one with the xbow.
he dies...it's hillarious actually, as he's in the middle of speaking, and just abruptly stops.
and you're stuck there in a teleport limbo of sorts. you can't do anything but move around in his office in super-slow motion.
