Yea.. I didn't really know where to put this because one is a game and the other is a music-related item, so... Yea.. It's here.

I would've probably gone for the Korg AX5G but I'm not really that good, so it'd more be for just screwing around rather then actual playing, but then again, when I do get good, I'll be using it...

Then there is Guitar Hero 3....

..

It's Guitar Hero 3, and I've never owned any GH games.

You should also know that I got a guitar for Christmas, that's currently under-going repairs (nut at bottom of neck is worn, also needs cleaning inside of it), and I haven't played it yet..

40 bucks for multi-fx unit like that huh? Seems like it might not be very quality. I'd wait until you're good at guitar and save up some more money for a higher quality unit.

So, get GH3 I suppose.

Well, I was looking for an AX3 at first, they are usually $85, but I saw that AX5G and it was $40, so I figured it was a deal, it says it was marked down from $119 on that site..

Fix your guitar and spend the money on guitar lessons.

Well, I'm not horrible at guitar, I'm pretty good, I guess (I'm one of the few people I know in real life who knows all the notes on guitar (all strings), and knows how to play in key), but I'm not super-good either, I've already taken lessons a while ago, anyways..

And like I said, it was marked down in price from $119, and AX3's are usually $85.. This is an AX5..

And I also said that it's already getting repairs done.. (I know a guy, who does it for free)

You can learn quite a lot from a competent teacher. Knowing the notes is one thing, but knowing the actual maths behind turning them into chords is another.

Save up and get something other then the AX5. Heck, if you get daring enough save up and get a Line 6 PodXT Live, I got one, and i'm breathless from the awesomeness of it.

The AX5G is not a bad pedal from the reviews I've heard, but it's pure plastic.

Why would you buy porno? I know loads of free porno sites.

Anyway, Rock Band would probably be a better choice than GH3.
Do eet.

Yea, Rock Band, nice waste of $150+... (costs way too much, it cost them probably a total of like $30 to manufacture, why do they have to screw everyone like that?!)

I know all the chords, too (I forgot to mention it), all I do is learn guitar stuff and play video games (I play more guitar then video games), I spend more time learning this stuff then actually applying it, so I'm good at music theory (Normally I don't like to brag, but I am really good with theory), but not very good at actually applying it and playing the guitar..

Off-topic: I did realize, however that once you learn theory on guitar, piano becomes extremely easy to play.. I don't know why people say piano is harder, it's not by a long shot.. Maybe I should buy a keyboard? :)

You could turn the money into singing lessons and start busking and make a few dollars/get more sechs.

Actually, the cost to manufacture it is quite high.

Maybe, but it ain't no $150+

Consider this - Some games (case, manual, and disk) fetch a price as high as $70 and cost far less than that to manufacture. Rock band includes all the instruments and the game for $160 or so. In terms of value of the package vs actual price, rock band makes a lot more sense.
