“We’re not ready to announce anything along those lines, but I don’t think there’s a person in this company that wouldn’t love to see a full-length TF movie or even a 10-minute movie,” Valve writer and TF2 video contributor Erik Wolpaw said. He was on the call with Kotaku from the Valve’s office in Bellevue, Washington. “I’m not just being cagey. I’m a little bit removed from these kinds of things. But they keep giving us a little bit more rope with which to hang ourselves, so who knows.”

I don't know. I'm kind of content with the short movies for each class. Make them longer and you would have to put up some kind of storyline and that would just not fit in with TF2 in my opinion. Also, having no storyline would just inject an overall blandness to the movie, so I'm having a hard time seeing how it would be a success.

The Spy video was really the start of having a coherent plot within a video and it was brilliant so I have high hopes for 10 minute shorts. :)

Although the 10 minute shorts sound great, Valve are just to damn slow to deliver.

Valve do need to make sure they can get more developers into the TF2 Team, but ensure they are of the right standard and talent. That way making longer shorts will take much less time.

I really hope they release a movie, I don't care when.

I recall hearing a while back that Valve was planning to release the same tools they use to make these videos, is there still hope for this?

It would be a great thing to cap off the Meet the Videos - a 10 maybe 20 minute video...

Honestly I'd love more L4D videos similar to the intro once they finish with Meet the Team.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe a start up for each Campaign.

A final video to finish off where the Blu team arrives and kills all of the Red team for hogging the screen time.

End of round humiliation captured in all it's glory.
