It was completely off the wall. I haven't watched anything Zombie since I saw the 5 minutes of 28 weeks later clip. Anyway, this is what I remember of it.
I'm in my hometown of Union, Nebraska. It's a small town of about 150. Me and a couple people are running, I assume, from zombies chasing us. I run down Main Street and see the bar with lights on and music playing. I wonder if people might still be alive in there, unaware of what was happening outside. I open the door, and see the place a mess, with tables flipped on their side, plates and paper towers strung all over. I knew what had already happened. I look quickly glance around, and the streets are quiet. Too quiet. My group turns around and we run for the rail road tracks, not knowing what we will find. We hear a train barreling down the tracks. We hear and explosion, and out of smoke stack erupts flames. I know that cant' be any good. We stare at the train passing in awe, HOPING for survivors. As the train passes us, Zombies start clambering out the back door, screaming, jumping off the train. We run for our lives.
My group begins running back up Main Street, hoping to get back to the residential zone to find a house to hide inside. While begin to run up the hill to the houses, when the Zombies charge from behind the Post Office, running and screaming at us. My group are trying their best to survive, but they are being taken down it seems. One charges at me, I kick it in his face, which does nothing. I take my knife and stab at it, hitting the rear part of his neck. Blood squirts out, and I pull my knife out, realizing it did nothing. I push the zombie back until he throws his head up, when I take my knife and dig it into his eye, straight to the brain. He falls over, dead.
I have one other person that survived the assault. We run back down towards the rail road tracks, we heard some cries for help. We see a couple people, but zombies are right behind them. Me and my partner retreat, and go inside of a large blue house, the white shudders stained with spots of blood from previous battles. We have no choice but to try to hole up in there. We open up the door, and close and lock it. We start unloading the living room furniture and putting it in front of the door. Just in the midst of that, we hear a knock at the back door. I take my knife, and open the door, and lunge the knife for the eyes of the people on the other side. They dodge it, and exclaim that they are humans, no bites. We rush the two females inside, and before we could barricade both doors fully, the zombies are there, screaming.
They rip apart the doors, climbing over our pitiful defense. We arm ourselves with whatever we could find, me with my knife. While I'm trying to kill the zombies, I look over to see my original partner, blood pouring out of her neck, the zombies gnawing on her every limb. Her lips move, I read, "Kill Me." but I can't. I'm too busy trying to survive my own battle. The two newcomers are the next to die. Both fall over, zombies leap onto them like starved wolves. I look for a quick exit, but nothing. I was surrounded. I trip and fall on my back. The zombies collapse onto me, while I am screaming for my life, I wake up...drenched in sweat.
I'm never eating chips and milk before bed again.
