Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Released!

I dont know if its my pc or the game, but it stutters for a bit every minute or so. Its like a looping sound, the screen freezes, then 5 or 10 seconds later it resumes to normal

Try turning off Multicore Rendering.

Well that fixed the problem, but it seems that every time i restart the demo it changes it back to "enabled". Is this just an issue with the demo or will the official game reset that setting every time?

That should get fixed. It stayed disabled in L4D1.

Either that or run the game windowed (borderless) in your desktops native. That way you can keep multicore on.

Looks like there was a demo update for any Aussies who have the US/UK L4D2 version, which added an "leftdead2_lv" (low violence) directory. So far, gameplay remains unchanged and uncensored, but the intro cinematic has been censored. Le sigh.

What this means for the full version, I don't know, but I'm not happy having a censor switch button sitting in my L4D2 folder.

That would be nice. I for one certainly would like to turn the blood & gore down (and the swearing fully off, for that matter).

It's rated 18+ for a reason, there should be no need to disable violence unless it's offensive or something.

Demo is great. Graphics and gameplay seem much better than the first for me. I was reluctant to purchase it with it only been a year since L4D, but I'm glad I did!
