Right, when I first got into the HL series I didn't get blue shift in my box, though it had all the other games (I think it was the platinum edition or something)

ANYWAYS so I was playing it recently, and managed to save on Dr. Rosenthal and go onto Xen.

While wandering every Scientist I talked to (few few of them) responded that he was "Not Dr. Rosenthal". After finding the real Dr. Rosenthal, he talked to me (though I had no voice), and mentioned some guy named Harold. Who the HELL is this Harold?

I couldn't find his quote in WikiQuotes. I don't suppose you can actually quote what he says?

And it's Rosenburg.

DOH! Damn it I kept screwing that up in the game as well. Rosenthal is from Crysis :|

We heard about Harold in Blue Shift and Decay. You can find him (wounded) in the warehouse in Blue Shift. He tells you to find Doctor Rosenberg before he dies.

Harold has a Kleiner face.

He was trapped in the room(Marines/Grunts) and when you opened the door for him, he tells you that he is not Rosenburg and then dies probably at the machine gun train part close to Rosenburgs finding.

Oh and Blue shift did come in the "Platinum Edition" or was it "Platinum Collection" it came in. Hmmmmmm Mine says "Platinum Collection"

tbh I don't remember ever seeing him :|

The only scientist that "exposed story" to me was some guy hiding near the canals with a flashlight.

The one on the roof? Well sorta roof, he was hiding there and went CALHOUN! And told you to get the troops.

Maybe you missed Harold... and let him die

DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN

I might have, Azner. I noticed a lot of areas had more than one way to go and I never went to them all.

Can you handle the troof?
Are you sure
Can YOU handle it?]
Tell your loved ones to leave the room
Blue Shift sucks monkey balls

It was fine enough IMO.

It was. It wasn't up to the standard of Half-Life. But neither was Opposing Force. It wasn't nearly long enough, though it was still perfectly good.

I liked it, mostly for the well-hidden secrets, exploring other parts of Black Mesa and Xen, and the ending.

Plus Dr. Rosenberg is awesome.

Yeah I love Xen. It's just so weird, being a group of floating asteroids. Would be SWEET if Valve made a minigame where we could see more of it, give us more to know about.

I'd like to see an antlion nest on Xen. Antlions just fit on those asteroids so well. It'd be awesome to see them fly from rock to rock.

I was honestly hoping we would see a connection between the Xen pools and ant lions -- explain two things at once, and NOT have crush-a-grub for HP.

There's not even necessarily a link between Xen and antlions.

I just would like to know where did these Antlions pop up, there was nothing like them in HL1.

In Opposing Force, there was that Antlion Guard-like weird thing that also did the laser-attacks. Maybe it was some relative to Antlions. Can't remember what it was called.
