Life Without Parole

I'm willing to bet the vast, vast majority of people in jail right now can be rehabilitated with proper care. As I said above, I don't deny that some people can't be, but they too need to be dealt with differently.
 
I don't buy that it would be the vast majority. I've hung around far too many people that have all the support and resources in the world available to them but they keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Usually it has to do with drug and/or alcohol abuse but doesn't always have to. That's not to say it's true for everyone, but it is true for many. And we should do the best we can to rehabiliate them but even if we do I don't think we will be as successful at it as you think we would be.
