What little detail in HL2 do you like?

For me it would be the screaming of the zombies when they are on fire, it is really quite surreal to have this zombie making a real sounding human scream.

the metrocop police radios, they sound so perfect.

THe screech of the head crabs while they fly past my left ear. God, I've missed it so much (crying hysterically).

Detailed textures.
I know it may sound stupid, but it irks me to see repeated textures over and over again (within moderation, of course, every game must have some repeated textures). HL2 is so great about this, little cracks in the walls, uneven tiles (like in the kitchen in the apartment bink)--that kinda stuff--it all adds to the environment and realism so much for me.

I like how this game seems so great but doesn't really exist. It's like religeon. When you die you go to a magical place where everything is GREAT. Only to know what it's like you have to die.

I feel like we are dying slowly and there may be heavon or hell on the other side. Heaven lives up to the hype, hell is a dissapointment.

TIME will tell. Devil is in the details.

anyone up for hot potato?

Forgot about that--I freaked when I saw that, it's so cool.

Another little detail I'm gonna love about HL2 IS all of its little details. This game will be so vast--having advanced AI(pretty much a fact), physics, easter eggs, awesome graphics, awesome story (hope), likelike characters and environments--it'll take a hundred replays to find everything they've put in there (like an adventure game, or something!), and that's not including physics (which, technically, allows for infinite possibilities).

Oiy, I just need to stop...I want this game, yesterday. :)

Go outside ... soon

I like how a few of the NPC's have imperfect faces, most noticeably the drunken man in the Tenements video. He's got one eye that's half-open, and it makes it just that much more believable. And the small blemishes and moles on other NPC's are good too :)

I'm also amused by the fact that the NPC's are not all 6'5" 300 pound weightlifters. I always hated that in games. :p

Yep, I really hope there are people of all kinds, fat and skinny...blah blah blah--and children :)
