load notification

will we be notified when the game is loading the next area in sp will we get a lil loading sighn like in original hl........that would be cool cause I dont want to get paranoid about my hardware

also... is it just me or is there some slowdown in certain parts of the e3 video when things are really hectic it would be a shame if it ran jittery on even the high-tech stuff such as new radeons and processors p4,amd 2000 or higher

and I noticed the Gauss Gun on the lil go-cart this time (as seen in original half-life only not an auto-mated mounted version) a handheld chargeable weapon will we see it as a handheld gun again?....I hope so I loved it and would like the see the fun gibs after chargeing it to the max

wow stone you managed to completely miss the point of this post I mean in the video do you notice the MACHINE ITS BEING PLAYED ON studdering not my machine slowing down because of the videos intensity

well however they decide to show the loading its gonna be just fine. theres no way they would just freeze the screen without a message.

It's not automated. The player controls it.

Gabe stated that it would be similar to Half-Life, with the little "Loading" text appearing during level transition. It should be even faster this time round, though.
