maybe some of you heard about the new mod; TacOps: Source. we started the project about 2 months ago and we realized that only two coders is not enough for a big mod like this.

Can you please explain the difference between your mod, and CSS?

I looked on the site, and all i found was a very very short, and not much info, in the FAQ.
No, this is not another copy-cat. It is a completely different developed game. The game varies upon skills, but the quickness of the game is what is so unique.

CSS is basied on quickness too.

Agree with this, there is only me coding on my mod, and thats far to much already heheheh :)
 
The team that DooVoo joined already has 3-4 coders >_<

God damn mongers, you dont need 30 coders, you need 1 who can work.

It's because of people like this that hoarde staff that I need to pay a coder to do my work. BUT! Thanks to you people, I'll know the work will get done because he's being paid.
 
well the reason our website doesnt explain much is because our webmaster is missing in action with all the new templates :|

we're remaking a game that was made on the UT engine (tactical ops). so its like CSS for CS 1.6. now the difference between CSS and TOS is about gameplay. ask any guy that played both TO and CS he will tell you that those 2 games are completely different.

for example: unlike CS, the recoil of a gun doesnt change when you're moving, jumping, crouching etc. u can always move normally while you're being shooted. it takes much more bullets to kill someone. (5 heads instead of 1 with an mp5) the sniping is alot harder then in CS which doesnt give you a big advantage unless you are very good with it. you imediatly stop when you release a moving button (A-W-S-D) meaning you can srafe quickly from right to left. and this feature makes the sniper fights much more interesting and a lot quicker. i suggest you try to install the old tactical ops for a better overview of what our mod is gonna look like. (and please don't play in single player... cuz it sucks.)
