Looking for half-life mods

I'm looking for Half-life mods i can put on steam, like that one where you kill all the scientists and stuff like that. I also heard there was a Half-life mod that looked like halo.

Do you mean Half Life 2? Or you really mean the original, now registered on Steam? Actually, I'm certain you mean the latter.

One recent mod for HL1 is Afraid of Monsters, and it is optimized for installation into Steam. People say it's very good and what I've seen of it is quite terrifying.

Sven co-op is great fun if people still play it. It's basically a multiplayer where you go through co-operative maps as a team fighting off all the monsters (you respawn when you die).

TS, NS and AoMC are also very good choices. For Natural Selection you can look for a server with bots to get the hang of things beforehand because it's complicated to begin with. If you join an NS server you'll be expected to contribute to the team, which means spending your resources wisely and not spamming a lot of Offense Chambers everywhere.

A great single-player mod is Point of View, you play as a vortigaunt fighting through Black Mesa, has a great story and good level design.
