Played it, liked it, didn't like it. Got boring real fast, especially with the lack of an arsenal.

On another note, I've heard both good and bad things about it.

I havent played much but I think I played it enough to show the strong/weaks points

strong points:the control is very confortable,I mean that is easy to play and understand and is confotable
the enviroments are very open which is a good thing

weak points:get boring fast,repetitive as hell
despite some dcent graphics the art direction is kind of crappy

Yeah I'd also like people to point out (with more description) what exactly is good and bad about the game. I haven't played it before so I'm kinda deciding whether i should spend about 500 on a 360 to get it (along with various other games of course).

as far as I know is only on xbox360

and I think the best good thing is the fights in the open enviroment,if you are used to corridor like shooters then this one will feel very diferent

The good: Awesome graphics, Akrid are fun to blow apart, MECHS!

The bad: Story (there is barely any there), later levels get boring, blah blah ****ing blah.

I like it though. Think Starship Troopers, only everything is white and you've got mechs.

Ya I was thinking about the Starship Troopers style of play. By the way the Troopers had mechs not in the first (i haven't seen the second) but in some of the 3D style TV show and in the Warhammer 40K style version of Troopers.

Also I was wondering can you use the chainsaw on the VS in gameplay?

If I remember correctly, yes, but only when piloting a certain VS. You only pilot it twice I think.
