For anyone else here who has finished the main quest. Who enjoyed/disliked the battle sequence between the embodiment of Akatosh (Dragon) and Mehrunes Dagon (Who didn't look all that menacing depsite his size.)

After staying up all morning to achieve this I enjoyed it very much. While a quick ending it was certaintly better than many other game endings out there.

OH MY GOD! WTF! YOU JUST RUINED THE END FOR ME!

just kidding. I liked the end and the oblivion gates going away !! woot!

Going into the oblivion portals seemed entirely like a chore to me. Who the heck designed all them spiral towers anyway? Bloody annoying things.

The fiery core thing in those towers anally raped my FPS.

But yeah, the ending was not what I expected, now to wait a couple of weeks for my god-damn armour!

The armor is sucky. I use it for a display or when I feel like going bling bling across the street.

I wasn't expecting the ending. I liked it but I wish it was more action-y.(IE: More moving around, more gore etc)
Most loose ends were tied up, but what happens to the Empire?! :(

What I found strangest about the ending is how the whole imperial city except the temple district is totally undamaged by the whole event. Also there is no people in the temple district, atleast pretending to, repair the damage that was done. :(

It was abit of a cop out ending though, I mean the fight between the dragon and Mahrunes Dagon wasn't even that spectacular, it just sounds cool when you say it.

The battle between Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon I thought was quite boring but they managed to get me excited about a possible expansion (different people fighting to become emporer, maybe you can support people becomming emporer, become the emperor or there'll be a civil war.)

Oblivion makes events seem more important than they really are, the problem is there is never really the ultimate cherry on top, the small detail. It always seems like rough work and is trying too hard to get you excited.

I really enjoyed playing the main quest and thought the ending was awsome. But the thought of me going through hell and not being able to kill the main boss myself is kinda disappointing in a way hehe. But still, it was awsome.

They probably thought it would be unoriginal to let you kill Mehrunes Dagon yourself.
