Making a new HL2 fan-pic

So any ideas ppl, i've been toying with the idea of doing yet another fan pic (more detailed this time around) - since i've hopefully got a month or so before the game comes out.

Again, this time around it'll be passed off to valve - kinda my little token of gratitude toward their hard work.

Pls keep the ideas simple if you can.

I encourage pose ideas but its not a must....

Alyx, gordon eli or any story chars must not be included - everything else goes tho.

a few examples would be.

Combine threatening city17 citizens.
Manhacks patrolling.
Striders finishing off a band of rebels.
Combine soldiers surprised by a flying piano

well, first of all, the combine pic of yours is the best that i have EVER seen, very very nice
combine and antlions like in the e32k4 vid might be cool, something with a strider would be cool also, keep up the great work!!!!

We dont know that the garg will be in HL2, but I still think it would b great if you did a pic of the combine fighting one.
If not, some combine fighting zombies could be cool.

Have a picture of like a dark smokey ally with combine searching a house and a combine apc at the end of the ally, or maybe have citezens hiding in the ally and a strider is peaking around the corner looking for them.

An action packed picture with a group of rebels crouching and the camera on the ground looking upwards at a sort of combine guard tower, fire and explosions and stuff, to show the entire idea of the citizens being oppressed with the rising combine threat etc

Really cool ideas ppl - wow your idea crazy got some creative juices really flowing fast....soo much work in that thing, that it might actually be really cool to get on top with.

Patpwnt - really cool idea too, could be turned into a very atmospheric piece.

Snowball - Can't remember what the garg looks like, anyone got any pics?

galoot - thank you, nice idea btw - could take a scene from the 2k4 vids and make that into a piece.

I appreciate all the ideas peeps...they all sound very cool - i'll have to do a few rough sketches before i'll make up my mind.

Do please continue posting ideas if you have any.

I'm going to draw a Garg now!

Well, snipers are always good. Gordon goes sunbathing on the beach but it all goes pear-shaped...a bar room brawl? With crowbars of course, as well as bottles etc. Of course, knowing the combine it would be an illegal speakeasy. ooh, rooftop jumping. Or you could have a zombie shopping mall assault..
