Making a steam test purchase

Hey all, I am trying to buy day of defeat sourcer but i get a credit card use exceeded message from Steam. I asked why and i was told that i needed to make a steam test purchase.. How can i do this?

Yes, I checked the tech support page at steampowered.com thats where I found that i need to make a test purchase...

maybe they want you to verify yourself like PayPal does...Heck I don't know.
