The image, taken last month, reveals at least four avalanches of fine ice and dust breaking off from a steep cliff and settling on the slope below. The cascade kicked up massive debris clouds, with some measuring more than 590 feet across.

It's Space Godzilla. It's quite obvious that the seismic activity was caused by crystal growing within the planet, causing that avalanche. Next thing you know crystals will be growing out of the surface of Mars. Then he will spread his domain to our world. The son of the black hole is coming for us.

Dogs help us all.

Thats pretty cool

Is the planet changing to support life on a full scale (dinosaur type creatures)

Never would of guessed, other planets have avalanches.

What will science do next?

Can't tell what the hell I'm looking at. Some rock, dirt, ice, and dust.

Oh wait, I totally missed the word "Mars". Thread makes more sense now :/

I don't think the range was that big at least in comparison to the St.Helens eruption of 1980.

AHHHHH! Natural disasters! Global warming is affecting Mars now!
