Massive Ubisoft screenshot/concept art leak (56k beware)

Ubisoft posted a 2GB RAR file to their public FTP server featuring a ton of artwork and screenshots for games yet to be released—and yet to be announced.

Visuals were posted for the following upcoming games:

Assassins Creed
Far Cry 2
Far Cry PSP
Far Cry Wii
Lost
Naruto 360
Open Season
Prince of Persia 4
Rainbow 6: Vegas
Rocky PSP
Splinter Cell Conviction
Surf's Up
Star Wars PSP
Shaun White Snowboarding
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles GBA

The file containing the goods has already been removed, but not before a number of GAFers snagged it and uploaded dozens of screens and pieces of concept art to ImageShack. Since there is just so much to look at, we'll just direct you to the thread that started it all

update: ubisoft made this statement:

"We are clearly displeased that confidential information from Ubisoft has been distributed on the internet. The publication of this type of information can only be harmful to the game development process and we will take all steps necessary to prevent this from happening in the future. We are still investigating the events that lead to this information leak and at this time have no further comment."


it was on their public ftp folder ..it's their fault

really? I still see every screen I've posted, which ones cant you see?

there's also 3 tech demos for Farcry 2 ..but I havent found a working link yet
 
Well, a couple of those Assasin Creed screens, all Splinter Cell and Far Cry for Wii don't work.

btw when you say they dont work, do you mean in this thread? could be a posting error ..check the thread I posted in the first post for all the images ..plus new stuff as it's uploaded

Far Cry 2, hmm.. so Ubisoft themselves have developed an adaption of the origional far cry engine.... loose?
 
Who says it has to be the Far Cry Engine or a spinoff of the engine?;)
It could very well be a totally new engine only that the game is based on the Far Cry 'universe'

An Far Cry-title to the Wii has been confirmed for a long time? And it was a couple days ago they confirmed that it'll be named "Far Cry: Vengeance".

I have been loving this all day! The pics of AC and Naruto looks sweet, as do the jeep/weapon models for Far Cry 2. Good times!

Wait a minute. How can there be a Far Cry 2 since Cryteck is working on Crysis?! Unless someone else is making it... Also most of those links don't work:(
 
Crysis != Farcry
I can see how it would be easy to think they are the same if you just look at pictures and don't read articles/interviews though.

EA owns Crytek and Ubisoft owns the Far Cry brand right now. EA is doing Crysis with Crytek and Ubisoft is doing Far Cry 2 with themselves.

I really wish I could see the Farcry 2 pictures. I want to see how it compares to Crysis. :x
 
Try uploading to imageshack.us instead, and lower the quality in photoshop to lower the filesize so the bandwidth doesn't run out.
 
None of the pics work for me anymore. Maybe I'm too late. :(

Interesting Far Cry 2 stuff I suppose.

And Stern.....wow....the post count....the goggles, they do nothing!

You weren't even around for the fake release date / alpha leak fiasco either, we all racked up a lot of posts in those days, for you to not have any from then and still have that much is crazy.
 
One good thing that can be deduced from those concept art images is that there won't be any more mutants!:D
 
Ahm, Everything has been completely wiped. too bad... I was starting to take an interest in Assassin's Creed.... I'd like to see a nice Flight Sim title on Wii, wonder what that would be like.
 
damn all i see is the 1st assassin's creed pic in stern's 1st post and the assassin's creed wallpaper :( i really wanna see the others of AC...
