hi,
in case this might interest someone...
Occasionaly i found myself bumping into invisible objects.
The air boat for example was missing.
What i did to solve this :
1) close all steam apz
2) delete from steamApps folder :
source materials.gcf , half-life 2 content.gcf, source Models.gcf
3) start Steam and launch Half-life 2 (download will start automatically => check monitor for progress)
once 100%
4) reboot PC and launch the game.
Don't try installing, re-installing drivers, messing with settings, aa/af... i tried it all
