Mods-how to load them?

Hi.
I know that the Half Life 2 official Sdk isn't finished yet so you can't quite make mods for HL 2 yet but i wonder how will we be running them when they are created? I mean there isn't any "Choose game" option like in HL 1(or something like that) so will there be one added by patch or shall we be made to use the console?

Quite an easy answer here...

What will happen is when the mods are available for download and finished and all, you when install them into steam and run the mods straight out of steam.
