We're having my grandma over for dinner which is nice, because she doesnt get to see us a whole lot anymore (shes in a home). My mom is making all the food though, because nobody else knows how to cook anything other than quesidillas and pasta.

My mom got pissed off at me that I apparently didn't have anything for her at 11 am, and I didn't, but it was uncalled for. So, I went into the woods and picked a shitload of flowers and I'm hoping she'll stfu. Right now she's gutting our chickens so I think I'll wait until evening or something.

EDIT: Maybe I should make her a card too?

Well, I couldn't afford to get anything for my mom this year... so I just called her up and wished her a good mothers day, on my birthday.

Last year I bought her a necklace locket with a picture of me and my brother in it... Also got her a nice recorder, which is her favorite instrument.

Wanted to get something late but just couldn't, Mother's day was dead smack in the middle of two finals and I had no choice but to study.

Although we had a huge family dinner to celebrate for most of the mother's in our family so that was party redeeming.
