Mother's Day

"Kids are different today", I hear every mother say. Mother needs something today to calm her down, and though she's not really ill, there's a little yellow pill. She goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper, and it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day.

I don't get it, for us in the UK Mother's Day was two months ago or so, yet most of you are only having it now? MADNESS!

Doctor please, some more of these. Outside the door, she took four more. What a drag it is getting old

some of you are horrible sons ...the least you could have done is made some effort, really it wouldnt take much just some token to show you appreciate her

made my wife breakfast in bed with the help/hinderance of my kids ..they absolutely loved being involved in making something for my wife ...also bought her a sweater ..which is kinda for me as much as it is for her: it's skin tight :naughty:

In other parts of the world yeah Druckles. We had it months ago over here though. Like march or something?

I got into an argument with my roommates mother on Mothers Day about how she's a stupid, arrogant, hypocritical person. Boy, that was so awesome.

I jumped a bit when I first read the title. I already managed to forget mothers day (because I was 200 miles away).

I've never really got on well with my parents. I've started to be on better terms with them since I've moved out, however. But that was inevitable.

Wait, what? It was mother's day?!

Yeah, March for us in the UK and Ireland. I usually get my mum a nice present and/or card, but usually I wait for her birthday at the end of May. The last couple of years I've made a real effort with my mum's birthday; getting her a really nice present and card, making a special meal for her and making and decorating a cake (I take pride in how good my cakes are!!!).

I never get my parents anything of mother's or father's day, it's not very bid where I'm at.

A couple of years ago I didn't get anything for my dad on Father's Day; I felt he didn't deserve anything. :|
