Yes, well, the thing is we all don't really like motivational posters. Yes, they were funny somewhere years ago, but sites like 4chan and others have repeated them to boredom. If you can make a funny one, go ahead, maybe we'll laugh. But there is a thin line between laugh and fail.

Yeah. I've noticed that HL.net seems to be our own little slice of 4chan, with allot less trolls. Oh, and Half-Life stuff, but who cares about that...

Give the guy a break. I know jack squat about computers and artwork. I wouldn't be able to create a motivational given ten thousand years. And while you all might not like them, others might. It's only your opinion, not some unspoken law of reality.

Motivationals were never truly funny. They are just a format to slightly enhance a funny picture, that got overused to the point where it negated any humor there was to begin with. If it isn't funny, sticking it in a motivational won't make it funny. If it is funny, sticking it in a motivational will make it less funny.

Motivational can most certainly be funny. However they can be unforgivably bad, combined with teh fact that it has become 'cool' hate motivational posters as of late.

If you're going to make shitty pictures at least use a common template so everyone knows that they suck, and can avoid looking at them.
