Move over Free-411, GOOG-411 is in town

Anyone who has used Free-411 will love it for the free directory service but hate it for the long ads and the fact that it wont connect you to the number.

Google has launched yet another crazy awesome service, 1-800-GOOG-411.

The automated voice guy sounds cool
No ads
Can automatically connect you to the number
Instantly get a text message with the Name, address and phone number of the place ur looking up.

Also the voice recognition seems to be top notch. I acted like I had just gotten a novacaine shot in the mouth and it still recognized what I said for the most part.

And of course, it's an Experimental (beta) service and totally free.
