MULTIPLAYER? where is it...

Okay - I raced out of bed (without waking the wife) this morning and started Playing HL2.

God I love this game...they did a great job (and reminded me of the first time I played HL - with the train ride...)

Anyways...I have the HL2 version that came free with my ATI card...about 1.2 years ago...

But - where the hell is multiplayer? I cannot find it...
Is it not activated yet?

Also - I am not fat - I am big boned

Anyone who's been keeping up with this game should know that CS is the multiplayer component. Kinda lame, but apparently there are going to be mods for deathmatch, and team deathmatch.

well I wouldn't get your hopes down, some idiots are going around saying HL2 doesn't ahve netcode? lol stupid... if you save this file and then make it bigger you will see taht they have an option for DM info player, and I can connect to HL2 internet games... but can't create... just go into conosle - connect ***.***.*.*** possibly it may work sometime soon, so get your hopes up mods will be gettin it done soon... I am also trying to figure it out, I need a guinea pig to help me test, interested?

It's kinda gah that VALVe didn't release any MP I mean they could've assigned a mapper who was in the Zero-Bugs Club (or whatever the heck it was) and ask them to start working on some DM maps, and then VALVe could say they are working on it....
