My Episode 3 Theory

My theory is that you may be able to make a choice weather you want to destroy the Borealis, or use the Borealis technology. This may be why its taking so much time for VALVe to make it because they are making 2 games at once. This is just a speculation though, I have no proof. So what do you think about my theory?

Besides making an alternative ending is not whats causing the time to make the game.

Don't sweat it. Most of us have been here long enough that we have heard every theory and speculation ten different ways by now. The last true excitement bubble for the HL series burst over a year ago. Since then there have been small flares of excitement around each gaming convention or Valve announcement, and we have always been let down (as far as EP3 goes... we went APE SHIT over Portal 2).

My advice to you. Hang out in the off topic forums until Valve makes the long awaited announcement. There will be plenty of hype and speculation then.

Don't worry about it Murmer, there is little patience for these type of threads because we've already heard just about every theory about Episode Three, & frankly it's all wishful thinking; when the time is right VALVe will show us Episode Three/Half-Life 3 & we won't even care about the long wait (probably).

VALVe haven't told us anything because they're VALVe, Half-Life is their baby & it gets the ultimate mothering, their lesser titles have (semi) regular announcements/releases. But not Half-Life, when they announce it will be HUGE, & well worth the wait.
