My Gameplay HL2 delay e-mail

Well, first off sorry if this has been posted before, but Ive pre-orderd hl2 with Gameplay.co.uk.

Well, they justsent me an e-mail:

Hi Andrew Simmons,

We are contacting you today to inform you that the release date for Half Life 2 has been changed by its publisher to (Apr 1 2004)

Gameplay apologise for this delay in dispatching your item.

If the release date for this item changes again between now and then, we will send you a further Email Alert containing the new date.

Notice where it says "by its publisher" :imu:, Ive got a feelin its gonna be here in April
 
Come April the first and you'll recieve a second email saying "APRIL FOOLS FROM GAMEPLAY!".
 
Wait, simmos thing says the date has been changed to April 1st 2004.

Sprafas says the date has been changed to September 2004.
 
Gameplay.co.uk admitted they guessed the September date.

So has Vivendi specifically contacted them to say that everythings set for April? Despite Vivendis own schedule saying To Be Announced.....

Weird....

Yes... Im still betting that it'll be out before E3, if not it'll be here sept 30 2004.
 
well tbh, when is e3 2004? because hl2 will be shown there, I can't see it been shown if its already been released.
 
They could announce gold at E3, but I have a strong feeling that it will be April. If today is opposite day, I mean.
 
I personally don't think VALVe will be showing HL2 at E3, then again, maybe I'm just too optimistic. I really do hope it's released in April (or before! lol), if not, I'll.. go insane!
 
E3 is in May. I'd think they would Unveil it's Multi - Player there while announcing it's finished, gone Gold and being released at the end of May. So gogo Team Fortress 2.

xen maybe the agressor and the g-man is the good one afterall??
