My stab at a background

I decided I'd try a bit of ragdoll posing. With some of the crap I've seen I thought "hell, even I can do that." Turns out its actually damn hard, but not impossible.

Note for any ragdoll posing noobs not "in the know." No collision is your friend.

Make the dude getting shot have blood decals and look like hes actually flying back (blur in photoshop is great) also you should have the mac 1 handed instead

Not bad! but the background seems kind of empty, if you didn't want to add anything to the background you could've added the "depth" tool where it blur the seen to a certian distane

To Solaris: erm, what did I forget?
To Cookie Cutter: I thought I had enough blood in this picture, so I left him merely "wounded" looking, as if the mac 10 has just fired. This also explains the reason why he isn't blasting back. I was going for resolve in helplessness, not just a gorefest. That, and its physically impossible to hold a mac 10 one handed. Heck, its really hard to hold a 9mm one handed.
To Duesexmachina: Yep.
To Afterburn3r: I did photoshop blur it a bit (I'm being forced to use a third party application, saying Garry's mod is screwing up my screenies that I take in game) and it helped. I tried to make it look like there had been a skirmish there, but your right, the background is prominent in this picture... and its bland. I'll keep the "depth" tool in mind though, maybe add in a revised picture with it.

Regardless, criticism is much thanked for. This is my first ragdoll posing shot, so I'd like to see what I got right and wrong. So far more right then wrong I hope?

yes, it's true, you would have to be very strong to hold a mac 10 in one hand, and even if you could you wouldn't be able to hit anything, that's just merely something they do in movies and games because it looks cool

J/k it was alright, guy holding the gun could use better posing on his hands, you should make more blood, and some blood squirting out.

I ment the decal of splurting out blood, because he just looks wounded standing not being blasted back. As for the mac- doesn't matter how realistic, it would look better one handed, to me.

actually cookie, I believe you mean an emmiter, not a decal of splurting out blood. Indeed, the thought crossed my mind, but it just seemed like way to much. Seriously, the emmiter makes it look like he has internal hemmoraging, and someone shot him in the heart and all of his arteries at the same time. WAAAY to much blood. And the Mac 10 stays two handed, although your right Dog, he does need a bit of tweaking with the hand holding the front bit of it, I thought it looked weird too in a way.
