Do any of you like mythbusters on Discovery Channel ?
I think its one of the best shows Discovery has ever had, it's fun and you do learn some cool stuff.

Apparently, the studio is actually a Movie effect studio, they have work in the Matrix Series and all the latest Star Wars, including Episode 3.

Yeah, if you watch the extra stuff in Revolutions you can see Adam Savage at work.
We've had a thread before or two, but I'm still a huge fan of the show. Some of the best stuff on TV.

Theres this myth I've lost, the one where they shoot the gaz tank of a car to see id it did blow up.

Great show! What are your favourite myths? I like the cannon one where they stuff 5 pounds of gun powder in a tree trunk and it creates a massive explosion and the rocket car where they strap rockets to a car and it goes like 500kmph

Yup, great show! My fave is the one where they fire chickens at a plane windshield with their giant chicken cannon.

What I like, is that, even if the myth is false, they NEED to blow something up at the end of the show hehe.

Great show, I think ive seen every episode, and yes, explosions are good...

Savage, and probably Jamie too, worked on a lot of stuff for those movies, but hes shown doing the practical special effects for the crash of the Hammer into the dock.

I like it as well. I love when they use "Buster" the dummy to help them out with their experiments.

Did any of you see the episode where they put a couple of pig carcasses in a car and sealed it shut for a week? That was nasty. I guess they wanted to see if it was possible to get it clean and get the odor out. They didn't succeed though. Hilarious stuff.

Mythbusters is a great show; I love watching it! My personal favorite experiment would probably be the chicken gun; found that very interesting.

I love that show. I just watched it last night. They tested chinese water torture... it was pretty interesting.
