Moultano didn't get 'recruited'. His map merely got accepted. I say "merely", but Moultano actually put an incredible amount of work into improving the original map through corresponadance with the competitive NS community (namely CAL) to make it a more balanced map. Merkaba is still the official map keeper of sorts, that's to say, the one who updates and edits maps as neccessary if the original map-makers go AWOL. You can see Merkaba's work in the excellent reworking of co_pulse and the (old) new ready room included since a few updates ago.

I heard about this news 3-4 months ago as it was released to Constellation members then, but as the forums have been down I haven't been able to add my Steam ID to my profile in order to join in the constie testing, so now's the first chance I've had to test it. But to some it might be a revelation of sorts. Look out for the vent additions in co_sava which I helped out Mendasp with (diagonal vents from Hive making flanking reinforcements more possible, vent exit at red crate in corridor outside Hive). There's also an inspired visblocker for the cargo room outside Marine start in the form of a broken RT, although I'm yet to see how well that plays in-game. I'm quietly confident that Sava is now a vastly improved map in terms of balance.

I also noticed in the screenshots that |DL|Chimpzealot was in it. I knew him like 2 years ago when I played this game harcore...im amazed he is still around.
